SOPHOS Managed Detection and Response.

All of our Managed IT Services clients get the full SOPHOS MDR Complete suite of protection as a standard part of their OPUSCare™ Managed IT Services Agreement. OPUS is a Sophos Platinum Solution Partner — a tier held by only a limited group of firms in Canada — which is what gives us direct engineering escalation into Sophos and the pricing that makes including MDR Complete as standard possible in the first place. We deploy and manage the Sophos stack for clients in Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto, all reporting into one Sophos Central console. In addition, we sell and implement this solution to clients who are not part of our managed services program, this is available as a termed subscription or as a stand-alone monthly subscription.

What Does It Do?

Sophos MDR is a fully managed, 24/7 service delivered by experts who detect and respond to cyberattacks targeting your computers, servers, network, cloud workloads, email accounts, and more. With Sophos MDR, our expert team stops advanced human-led attacks on your behalf, neutralizing threats before they can disrupt business operations or compromise sensitive data. Sophos MDR is customizable with different service tiers and can be delivered using our proprietary technology or by leveraging tools from other vendors, including Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Okta, Darktrace, and many others.

Security data from Sophos Firewall, Email, and Cloud, as well as Microsoft Graph Security can be integrated with Sophos MDR at no additional cost. Security data from other third-party sources can be integrated with the purchase of Integration Packs. Sophos Central

Sophos Central, our cloud management solution, enables the management of all your Sophos products through a unified management console. Real-time information sharing between products and automated incident response makes cybersecurity easy.

Following Sophos’s 2025 acquisition of Secureworks, the platform also extends to identity threat detection and response (ITDR), next-gen SIEM, and Sophos DNS Protection — all managed from the same Sophos Central console.

A recent engagement

Anonymised, as all our case studies are. A shipping company of 80-plus users had an EDR product in place but no managed service behind it — detection with nobody on the other end of it at three in the morning. Taking their managed services over from a previous provider, we replaced it with Sophos MDR Complete, which adds intervention and remediation rather than another alert queue for somebody to ignore.
